Well, these forums are proving expensive viewing. Since first calling in, I've ordered a Panasonic E85, a 250GB HDD for my Sky+ and now want a DVD-RAM-compatible drive for my PC. Can any Panny owners offer any advice in this respect? Are there any compatibility issues between the E85/other Panny units, and particular DVD-RAM discs and drives? It looks like I'll go for a LG multiburner, unless anyone (other than the bank manager) tells me it's a bad idea.

I've used an LG writer alongside my Pan E100 for a nearly a year now with no problems.

Cheers, that'll do for me. Any particular DVD-R and DVD-RAM discs you'd recommend?

Different people will recommend different brands but I've had no problems with Verbatim DVD-Rs and Panasonic DVD-RAMs.

Note the LG will only take un-caddied RAMS
