DVD-RAM double sided - why bother?

    Am I right in thinking that the Panasonic DVRs can't read both sides of a DVD-RAM disc without you having to eject and turn it over? (should have checked the manual for the Panny E50 when in-store!)

    Is there any reason (other than storage space) to buy (rarer) double sided instead of single sided discs?

    No reason at all! They shoud be cheaper than buying two though.

    I actually think double sided RAM cost more than 2 single

    Well, I quite like the double sided caddied discs. But its personal preference. I posted a question about it before I bought my E30
