    Hello there,

I've just ordered my first DVD writer (Panasonic E65) and need some help with choosing some blank discs. Please could someone tell me which RAM disks I need for this recorder - I've only just realised that they can come with or without a protective cartridge.

    Thanks

    Steve

If you want to use them with a PC or other device then I would go for ones without cartridges (called caddies). If it's just for your own use buy caddied discs - although these are very much out of fashion so you'll probably need to buy those online.

I use Panasonic or Maxell DVD-RAMs - generally from either DVD And Media or the Panasonic E-shop although there are, of course, hundreds of decent online retailers to choose from!
