My 88+ has very big problems when it comes to read Dvd-r discs, very annoying indeed. Display saying "Bad Disc"

Is my player faulty or is this normal ?

btw my Pioneer 656 read them just fine.

All DVD-Rs or just some? And all brands? I'm interested because I was thinking of getting an 88 for a second system. For info, my FMJ DV27 has no problems at all with Sony or Ritek DVD-Rs.

this could down to the way the discs are authored, or just cheap discs, you could try re-copying it onto a better quality disc
