    Hiya,

I have just burned my first DVD-R wth ULEAD Video 8, however, it doesn't play on my DVD player or my DVD player on the PC.

It does playback on my multi format DVD writer, but I don't understand why not on the others.

I thought DVD-R was the popular disk?

I did notice it was recorded as a type 2, does this make a difference?

I would be grateful for any help!

    Thanks

DVD-R won't playback in ALL stand alone devices but it SHOULD playback in most modern players.

It certainly should playback in the PC writer it was burnt in.
