    Can anybody tell me how to get my link to work in the signiture?

    Here is my list:- ( you will have to cut and paste into your browser )

    http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mycollection.asp?alias=techno freak

    Any help on hyperlinking this on my sig strip would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Here you go.

    My Collection

    Which you will need to insert as

    [ABC=http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mycollection.asp?alias=paul1672]My Collection[/ABC]

    Replace ABC with URL in both locations

    "Private Collection

    This user has chosen to keep their online collection private.

    If you are this user and would like to change this option, please visit the My Collection Options page and adjust the Visibility setting. "

    Just tried out DVD Profiler too!
    It really is a good piece of software isn't it?
    Guess I will be spending a couple evenings adding everything now!

    If anyone has a DVD collection that will end up leaving your fingers sore (from typing in all the UPC codes) then I can highly recommend the CueCat barcode scanner from www.mavin.com. Supported directly by DVD Profiler and works a treat.

    The best bit is it's only about £12.

    I was just thinking about a pocket PC version also. It would be ideal as I use my PDA as a remote, having a decent version of your DVD lists on it would be supberb.

    A CD version would be good aswell.

    You've been busy. You've input 650 discs in less than 24 hours. Wow :eek: Well done.

    Look again at my post above. Simply change the ABC to URL in both places then put your DVD Profiler Username after the = sign. Then copy the whole lot, including the open and closing square brackets and put that in your sig. It really is very simple if you follow my instructions above.

    Like this

    My Collection

    Which you will need to insert as

    [ABC=http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mycollection.asp?alias=michael]My Collection[/ABC]

    Replace ABC with URL in both locations

    And yes you will need to add it in your profile signature.

    Yep. You will find your profile is set not to display titles with Adult content, 18 cert (or ones it thinks has Adult content - language, violence, sex scenes, etc). Simply set your online profile to display all titles and the missing ones will re-appear :)

    That's all it's for. DVD Profiler is ideal to enable you to catalogue all your films and share that list with family and friends. It can handle loans etc if you do that. Putting it in your sig is, well, who knows what for. Don't really want the world to see the value of my collection.

    ??? :confused: A URL is a link to a page or site on the web. The URL's being referred to above are the links to the individual's DVD listing which is held on the DVD Profiler site.

    Think i have it now.

    You mean put the letters URL instead of the letters ABC at either end.

    OK, let's try a different way for those that are still link challenged ;)

    Use the text below in your signature to show your DVD Profiler site as a link. Remove the 2 x spaces between the first U and R and R and L so it looks like URL not U R L. Then simply insert your DVD Profiler username in place of username (after the = sign) and away you go.

    [U R L=http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mycollection.asp?alias=username]My Collection[/URL]
