DVD Profiler v2.1 beta
Is available for download to subscribers now
what has been updated?
worth registering for?
The biggest thing for registering is if you print out your profiles as you get (usually) hi-def images
I think the extra referred to was V2.1 vice V2.0.
Given a couple of weeks/months 2.1 will be available freeware so there wouldn't be any point in registering just for the 2.1 update
I registed ages ago.
The fee is only about £15 and its a fantastic programme which i use almost every day.
If you like it and use it, think about registering it.
Registration gives you free unlimited updates and lets you remove the adverts.
I agree, I too am a registered user and use it everyday twice on mondays
For the asking price its a good piece of software.
Its a software available at www.dvdprofiler.com that allow all of us weirdos to put a link under every post we write so trhat we can show off our collection
It`s a programm that allows u to list all your DVDs just bz entering the UPC code and let`s u have nice statistics as well.
its also a great way of keeping track of what movies you have featuring the same actor etc
Also you can easily find out if a movie is available on dvd, in what form, in what regions etc etc etc.
You can also print out summary lists/books of your collection.
Allround very handy prog. take a look is my advice.
I only wish something similar was available for CD's
The codes are found on the back of your DVDs - its the number underneath the bar code
With registration you also get hi def cover scans which is very handy if you want to use the report feature where you can print out a 'coffee table' catalogue of your collection. No pixelatted piccies see!
Nice idea but....
site cr*ps out in Opera 6.05 (for me at any rate).
Haven't tried 7.01 yet.
He means that he is not using internet explorer but Opera as a browser and that the site won't work with Opera
Correct, If site was written to the open internet standards it would work in all browsers that follow those standards. Opera is one of those browsers.
I haven't tried it with Konqueror or the raft of Linux based browsers but then again I don't subscribe to the site.
You pays your money and you takes your choice.
Site works with Netscape 7 and Mozilla 1.2 and Opera 7
Thats good news. Have been holding back on implementing Opera 7.01 until it had a few more miles on the clock. (look what happened to 7.00 )
But why would you look at a site about a program that only runs on Windows if you are on Linux?
Who said that ???
Opera 7 is a windows release (as is 6.05(.
(lats time I checked Opera 6.11 was the linux release IIRC).

I just found another bug.
When i watch my collection online alll movies are listed 2-3 times.
Maybe it adds one every time I upload, or one for each time the profile is updated?
Just want you to check if it just my collection.
My collection worked fine with the last beta and is working fine now with the current public release.
I have now uploaded again, and it's now back to normal.
