    Hi Peeps,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of somewhere I can get hold of DVD EAN numbers for inputting into my DVD Profiler collection?

I have just ordered a load of DVD's and most already have profiles created in DVD Profiler (great!) however I have ordered the Osbournes Season 1 which does not already have a profile available.

I was going to create one, however I need the EAN number for the disk. I have tried searching for one and have had no luck so far.

I can find UPC & ISBN numbers on some websites, but no joy with the EAN.....

    Any ideas? :zonked:

The EAN is just the UPC number with one or two digits knocked out ;)

For R1s, just knock out the first and last digits.

For R2s, knock out the first digit.

Hi Kirk, this is something I was trying to do. Which web sites give you UPC numbers?

    Cheers

The EAN is the number under the barcode and yes you leave out the first number for region 2 as the previous poster said. What a God-Send the EAN method of input is! I was getting no images with 2.0 so I started with a fresh install of the new 2.1 release and re-entered my entire collection (203). It only took about 3/4 of an hour. I downloaded a nice three per page report from the IVS site and 50 odd pages and nearly a whole printer cartridge later.....viola....the fruits of my labours:D

    Hiya,

Yeah...as mentioned before...DVD Soon give pretty good updates on UNC/EAN numbers.

    Also try

    DVD Concept

    Bensons World

    Hope that helps.

Nah - just wait until you get three more then print off another page. Alright their not alphabetical - but when browsing for a movie to watch that doesn't matter.
