    Hi all,

    I just tried to input Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - Director's Edition (R2) into DVD Profiler, but it doesn't recognise the UPN, and it isn't listed under the names - seems strange for such a mainstream DVD - especially as it has been out for several months! :confused:
    Even more mysteriously Star Trek III worked fine!

    Anyone else?

    Also - No pic yet for Angel Series Three :confused:

    Strange one that Lex.

    Try 5014437820136.

    Worked for me fine.

    Or try the EAN which is 014437-820136

    Cheers
    Greg

    Thanks Greg - I will give that a go (I'm on a different pc at the moment). It is strange though - I wonder if its because it is the cardboard case - is yours cardboard or the plastic amaray?

    I can't remember which DVD it was now, but I had one with a EAN code on the cardboard case that was not recognised, but it had a different code on the actual plastic box which was recognised. Off the top of my head it might have been Gangs of New York, but I might be wrong.

    Don't HMV have their own special packaging for certain releases ? These must not be as common as the standard releases so it's less likely that people will submit and register these codes with DVD Profiler.

    Yeah this thread is several months old now... DVDProfiler now recognises the code off of the cardboard case and the plastic case ;)

    I also had trouble with "Wrath of Khan" & "Search for Spock" using the code on the back of the cardboard sleeve.

    Sometime DVD profiler does not correctly "Refresh Profiles".
    To get this to work click on:

    Tools;
    Options;
    Utilities,
    and then on "REPAIR DVD PROFILER DATABASE" and "RESET DOWNLOAD TIMESTAMPS"

    This will enable a complete relisting of "Profiles".

    All those discs you know should be on profiler but you cant get should now work.

    I am using Version 2.1, build 616, not sure if the above applies to other versions.
