DVD players on amps pls help

    Hi!
    Will putting my dvd player on top of my av amp damage either the dvd or the av amp:confused:

    Sorry to ask a stupid question:eek:

    Not a good idea IMHO, the heat generated from an A/V reciever is quite considerable, while the weight of a receiver could well be too much for a DVD player .. and again, air flow through the receiver could be an issue with hot air being added by the DVD player.

    Hi!
    Thanks for the reply:cool: The dvd player (Tosh 330) has feet, so there is a space between the dvd player and the av amp. I don't really much space for things:rolleyes:
