Ive heard many people saying that a £1000 DVD player Would not sounds as good as a £150 DVD player. I find this hard to believe.

If it is true, this would be bad! I am thinking of buying the New Sony 705 (something) DVD player. Which has, DVD, SVCD, VCD,SACD,CD,MP3....(multi-region) which is basically every format that i will need, this cost £199.

Or i have the choice of buying the Marantz 5000 CD player. (£120)

Would the difference be HUGE, or just noticable for the audiophiles??

2.I have a Sony DVP900 and IMO it sounds really good for CD's as well as being good for DVD's.
