DVD Players - Buffering

Standard Member
I'm sure I read somewhere recently that some DVD players were now starting to be shipped with some RAM-buffering which would enable you watch the movie without having to worry about the layer change as this would be removed by the cache.

Does anyone know what make this was (or example players) and if it is going to become a standard feature accross most players/manufacturers.

It sounds like an obvious answer to a (sometimes) annoying problem.

Squirrel God

Denon, buffer size varies between models.

I hope it will become a standard feature at some point in the future on all players, much like anti-skip on CD walkmans. :)
