    could someone reccomend a few players too me that have either composite or dvi out or both please as ive just bought a sagam hd45 and would like to get a new player as current player only has a scart output. looking upto £500 if neccesary but want spend around £250 cheers

    i require multi region and wanting a player that produces a good rich quality picture

    Every player ever released has composite out. I take it you mean component output.

    However if your display is capable of taking a digital connection you are better off with a digital connection rather than component. Component is analogue and does not compare to a digital connection unless there is some sort of hardware mismatch or problem using digital like macro blocking.

    has anyone got any suggestions what about the denon 2910 or 3910

    I just bought a multi-region Panasonic S97 from Richer Sounds for £160, meant to have retailed for about £300 when it first came out. It's got progressive PAL and NTSC component and HDMI output, and will scale non hi-def feeds upto your display's native resolution. Looks pretty damn fine on my Tosh 52" I can tell you. Well pleased for the outlay.
