DVD player without progressive scan on sammy 32" 41BD??

Hi, I have a Sony DVP - S735D DVD player, im not to sure if its progressive scan or not?

Will i need to upgrade my DVD player to get the best picture quality on the samsung 41BD 32" LCD or will the Sony DVP - S735D be ok?

I would personally upgrade to a hdmi upscaling dvdplayer to get the best out of your lcd tv your sony will still look good but can be improved upon.I currently have a samsung hd-950 ps hdmi upscaling dvd player http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=94261 or there is the cheaper toshiba http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=95804 which is supposed to be good aswell.

I have the old faithful 725 Sony connected to a Samsung LCD. Its progressive, so Id imagine the 735 is as, considering its the later model

Thanks for info, whats the DVD picture quality like on the samsung LCD compared to a 32" 100hz CRT?
