Title pretty much says it all.

I am soon to take the plunge for either a Panny PW6 or PW7 plasma and will need to buy a new DVD player too as my existing unit is not up to the job and does not have component inputs.

So, I'm looking for recommendations please people! What do you use with your PW6 or PW7? Does it blow you away?

I guess I'm looking to spend up to about £400, if necessary!

Thanks in advance for your thoughts...

I've been interested in a Harman Kardon DVD player and receiver combo, but I'm not 100% convinced as I have read mixed reports on HK gear on these forums (esp. DVD 22). I seem to recall that you are a bit of a fan of some of their stuff, HD?

I'm actually running a 28" Philips CRT at the moment (28PW9616), with an Onkyo TX-DS595 receiver and 5.1 KEF eggs. Love the KEF's so not looking to change them, but definite about the plasma and DVD player now and fairly sure about changing the Onkyo in the short(ish) term.

Don't want to take my post off-topic too much, but I guess that I'm looking for a complementary receiver for my KEF's as well as a complementary DVD player for my PW6/PW7! And, of course, it would be nice if the DVD player and receiver worked well together too.

God, I don't want much, do I? :zonked:
