Hi every1, i was wondering if it is worth paying more for a dvd player with dolby digital decoder built in than one without this capability? Im hoping to upgrade my system with a 5.1 speaker system at a later date, will ahving a dvd player which can decode a dolby digital 5.1 signal help me when i come to upgrade or isnt it necessary? Any information would be great, thanks

In theory, you don't need it if you have an AV receiver because the AV receiver will decode it. But you'll be hard pushed to find a DVD player without a DD5.1 decoder anyway ;)
