    Hi there,

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but........

I've just purchased a Sony KDL32S2010, I'm just waiting for it to arrive and I'm thinking about buying a new DVD player. On a budget I should add.

The thing is, with the LCD I've chosen, if I'm going to spend £300ish for a DVD player (with HDMI):

    1) Will I REALLY notice much difference against my 360 via component (maybe a silly question)?

    2) Is it worth paying for something like Marantz DV6600 (£350) or something in the region of £150?

    2) If I go for it, how much should I expect to pay for a HDMI cable. I've seen some in the region of £50!

    Cheers,

    Nic.

ha ha, yes just testing you :)

Thanks, the difficulty is finding a store with the players I would like to try + 360 AND having demonstrations available. I dont think such a place exists sadly.

£50 was the cable on the richer sounds website. It's one of those things where not having used HDMI, its hard to know whether I'm throwing my cash away.

I'll start my search for decent £150 players.

    Thanks alot.

    Nic.
