Wondering if you guys could help me.

Whats the best player to get to go with my 32ZP18P Toshiba tv for between £200 and £350?
Was looking at the Toshiba 520E, but i notice its a few months old now, wasn't sure if anything better had come out recently.

    Cheers

Ah yes i had a look at that one also, but from what i read on the board here, i couldn't really see much justification for the £110 more than the Toshiba 520.. Apart from superior music cd playback, it seems to lack Progressive scan (which appears to be rated as something important?).

Actually now that i look into i'm not sure if my tv does progressive scan?

Better picture than the Tosh, better CD playback, SACD & DVD-A compatible. No Prog Scan (Philips' new player does have it). I didn't consider PS to be an issue since I have a tv that isn't PS compatible (I don't intend to upgrade that for a long time). The only thing that the Tosh has in its favour is the price & the fact that you can get them more easily than the Pioneer (I believe that Richer Sounds are out of stock again)
