    Hi,

I went into Richer sounds today with the intention of coming out with a Toshiba 220 multi region. The keen sales guy said that the Tosh was 'OK' but was pushing me towards the Limit 9900SE. saying it has Progressive scan on PAL - is that right and will it be of any benefit to me having a normal Philips 32" 100hz set.

Is it really better or is the commission just higher?

I realy dont know which player upto £150 to go for!!!!

I would go for the Tosh. They make cracking DVD players. The 220 is great model and I pressume region free at richer.

yes, the limit is progressive enabled but have you got either

a component in TV that supports progressive scan

    a projector

or are you going to get either?

If no, go for the Tosh. It willdeliver a superb RGB or s-video picture for you.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks - I had decided on the tosh over the pioneer 350/454 already but they threw a spanner in the works with the other suggestion.

    Cheers
