dvd pic problem

just put my copy of first blood in to watch,its the version that in the r1 tin set,there seems to be a strange flashing problem with the picture,every couple of seconds the colour in the pic glitches????i have tried other dvds and this is the only one thats doing it??any suggestions.

I've the R1 SE which I think is the same version as the tin. No colour problems like you've described although there is the odd pixelation glitch - it happened once or twice during the film.
Only suggestion would be to see if it happens on another player.
