DVD passthu and freeview

Help! - If I buy a freeview tuner DVD recorder (such as the Sony RDR-GXD310), and connect my Sky+ box through the two Scarts in the usual way, can I record from a freeview channel whilst watching something else on Sky?
Or will the freeview channel be fed out to the TV scart?

probably not, but there is a second scart on the sky box. Connect this to the tv and you will be able to watch sky again by manually selecting the alternate av in on the tv.
