I would like to install a DVD player in the bedroom to replace an old VCR. Problem is the VCR is quite a way from the tv and the wires are buried in the wall so a scart conection is impossible. Is there any way of converting the scart signal in order to get it onto a co-ax connection?

I'm sure anything is possible but I'm more sure you wouldn't want to.

An RF modulator would work, but as Weirdfish pointed out the results might not be that great.

Have you tried looping the DVD through the VCR ?

It doesn`t always work as sometimes it triggers the macrovision on the vcr but its worth a try !
