DVD Profiler is free to use. You download the software and are given a key to activate your service. You add your DVDs by inputting the barcode number on the rear of the box and the program does the rest, easy and useful.

dvdprofiler is free to download. you just get ads wedged into the display and you don't get hires scans of the covers.

you enter the upc no on the back of the dvd case and it downloads the covers and profile of the titles.

    staggering product.

thanks for your reply chaps, i have mine currently listed on my website (which is in my signature) but i may also do the DVD profiler thing.

I dont really need the two of them but hey, if it all works off a barcode then it isnt going to take that much administration.

    thanks again

You can select which regions you want, or leave it with all regions selected, there are quite a few other options to tailor it to you own requirements too, all very easy to use though.

There is an upload function within the software, it's all free and they host it.

You can pay $25 or so for a better version which gets rid of the adverts and gives better quality images, but that is the only thing to pay. I haven't done so yet, but am thinking about it. Anyone who has upgraded got any opinions?

Cool. I found those features, it seems pretty easy to use, but i think i will keep my own website as the main list.

I was looking for how to add items to the wish list, how do you add DVDs to this, and can you add items to this away from my main computer, for example if i was at work and i saw a dvd i wanted to add to my list could i do it there.

also does anyone have the ean for Jurassic PArk 3, the version i have comes up as unknown :zonked:

I have dvdprofiler installed on my home and word pcs. I do a backup to a usb removable device and then import it at the other end. you can of course upload to "my profiler" and download on the other end - it only takes a few mins.

there are rumours of a pcket pc version too. at the mo I export to excel and use pocket excel. Other people have dome some trendy XML interfaces to it.

I'm a registered user as I use it heacily and $25 aint that much for a very good program. This is a one off fee not every year like some products
