Forgive the naive question, but can a home-recorded DVD be labelled with a full-face stick-on label in the same manner as a home-recorded CD?

    Thanks in advance,

But beware - the labels may affect the ability of the player to play the disc. I have had problems with labels.

I now have the Epson 950 printer which prints directly onto the DVD. Excellent results and no playback problems.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know it was possible to print directly onto the surface of a DVD.

I've only had experience with stick-on CD labels and I've never found any difficulties with playback, even when using labels that only have a very small central hole. I suppose as with most things I'll have to experiment once I get the DVD recorder.
