Greetings I have a Toshiba 210e which is on its way out. Due to lack of space I have no means of recording. I was thinking of replacing the Tosh with a DVD recorder including hard disk. My main requirements are: 1. Good DVD playback (As this will be my main machine) 2. Multiregion 3. Good size hard disk as this will probably be used the most linked to NTL digi box. Ive had a look at the following Pioneer DVR-530H Out of stock at Lx and the cheapest I can find it is £400 for multiregion Toshiba RDXS34 Bit worried about the fan noise as this would drive me up the wall. Sony RDR510 Seems to get a good name for normal playback and priced at £305 for the multiregion. Smaller HD. Would the quality of these machines be on a par or above an old tosh ? Any other recorders or points I should consider given my simple needs ? Thanks.
