Does anyone know of a hack for the Tag MacLaren DVD32R, preferably by the remote control using a series of numbers. If there is one, are there any limitations on it’s use, like only 25 goes and then the last region is fix permanently?

    Nic,

Your dealer will be able to advise you on how to change the region code of your DVD32r should you need to move country.

I am unaware that there is any lock on the number of times this procedure may be done!

getting a guaranteed chip for your player may be more successful, as this cost will be negligible in comparison to the cost of the player.

If you are determined to find a hack, try to find out what/if the Tag thang is based upon.

this will be more likely to determine the chances of you finding a hack.

Not really sure if anyone is likely to want to give a £4000 DVD transport to a "chipper", especially when your authorised TAG dealer can tell you the procedure to modify the unit to region 1,2,3,4,5,6 usage should you have to move to any of these territories.

if you're feeling as good/lucky (or as wealthy as james bond), you could even chip it yourself rather than sending it to a 'chipper'
