    HI,

I've just bought a used HCPC and have found that when playing DVD's that there is a glitch every 30 seconds or so where the movie kind of fast forwards or jumps forward about a second or two.

Anyone any idea what this could be?

I'm going to update the Radeon driver to see if that helps. Any other things I could try?

As it is, it's unwatchable and I've had to switch back to my DVD player.

The graphics card is an ATi All-In-Wonder 7500 and the DVD player is a Pioneer DVD-106s and I'm using Power DVD 5.0 and Power Strip on XP.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Cal.

Have you tried WinDVd or any other software player?

Zoomplayer is a free front end, and you could use that with the PDVD video/audio to see if it's specific to PDVD or the pc in general.

There's a patch for PDVD 5, so try that to see if it helps.

Have you tried it without powerstrip as well? Try to take as much out of the equation to see if it helps. If it does, then add them back in just to see which one causes the problem.

    Gary.
