DVD dual layer question

    Hi,

    I have a DVD +/- R/RW drive.

    can i record onto DVD R+ dual layer media.

    I want to record up to 8GB.

    No you can only burn dual layer with a suitable dual layer recorder

    Don't you think you should have asked what make and model number the drive is?

    There are loads of "+/- R/RW" drives that can write +R DL discs.

    I assumed from the description given that it wasn't a dual-layer burner, as they are clearly labelled as such
