    Hi Gools,

The kit you need, is free, available in every household in the land, and will last a lifetime - guaranteed!

    It's called "your hand"!

Sorry, mate, couldn't resist that one. ;-)

Seriously though, any normal CD-cleaning kit will do the trick. Stores like HMV and Virgin sell them for between £8 and £15. Just make sure they are DVD compatible though, as some aren't, and may cause damage to your discs or system.

    Hope this is of use,

    Pooch

I would recommend Brasso or Silvo. They give a hell of a shiny finish, which will impress the grandparents when they visit.
I think B&Q are doing them in a special twin-pack!.

You should never need to clean a DVD player (alledgedly), as the optic is held within an enclosed unit, ie, dust free.
The discs are best cleaned with fairy liquid.
    Simple clean and you're off.
Save your money and buy more films. A lot of these accessories are junk.

I used the CD Hydrobath discwasher today.
The fluid supplied is for cleaning cd's/cd-i/
cdrom.I guessed it would be okay for dvd.It worked perfectly, and played perfectly. It is a totally automatic cleaner. It spins the disc clockwise to clean, and then counter-clockwise to dry.
