I went to a computer fair on sunday {one I have used for the last 5years, and had god service from them in the past} and purchased 100 DVD twin cases - the cases when opened have a slight burning smell - so I suspect they have been smoke damged - the 10 DVD-R and 10 DVD-RW I put in them now also have a slight burning /smoke smell.

Anyone any ideas how i might remove the smell from the cases - maybe cleaning in water/soap - not sure how a DVD Disk will respond to water and soap.

    any suggestions welcome.
