What do folks make of this? sounds too good to be true, or is it worth a punt at this price? I'm suspicious of the 'today only' bit....

Sounds like just a way of creating a VCD and using a encoder to pack the DVD onto a CD. This has been well documented elsewhere and for free, using something like Flask and the DiVX codec. I seem to remeber it was on www.tomshardware.com a while ago.
As far as i am aware, you cannot burn a DVD usign a CD burner, if that was the case you could read a DVD on a CD drive.

Matt, that's what I thought, but it's not what is says! As you say, the system is available free elsewhere. In UK this type of marketing statement is not allowed, buyer beware on the internet then... Martin
