Intend to buy from them but searched the forum and came across some (older) negative comments.

Are those still valid or what's the latest opinion on availibility of titles, delivery and customer service?

You may have come across a negative comment from me where i was woried about non delivery.
well i happy to say that that no longer stands as i now have all my discs.

perhaps the only negative thing i have to say now is about there delivery times it took seven weeks to get all four discs and the one that arrived last was the first sent (figure that out). in any case i feel satisfied enough to place anouther order and i doubt youd have any trouble, just be prepared to wait.

I order all my region 1 discs from DVD Box Office and so far I have not had any major problems.

The only one was with Fight Club which took them ages to get any stock of. They even have the Akira tin which is winging its way across the Atlantic as we speak

I find if you pre-order titles in advance then they ship on their release date no problem. If you order popular titles that have been out a couple of weeks then they can have problems with stock. Delivery to the UK is usually about 2 weeks.

Customer service is also pretty good

    Hope this helps.

    Reiner..

I have bought a lot of discs from them in the past
(you may have read some of my postings on Box Off.). Their service is impeccable but delivery times can vary (UK customs are responsible for this - so cant comment on your local officials & subsequent times)

But they seem to have the keenest prices (and I can vouch for their returns policy)

All in all I'm happy to continue to buy from them

    Hope this helps

by the way thanks for your previous efforts on my behalf when locally (asia) pricing up a Denon A1SE a few months back. Just to let you know, I eventually bought a Tag AV32R & power amp combo & Im constantly amazed by it

Cool, I will give them a try then. At least they ship to Malaysia and due to the Canadian funds the prices work out reasonably for me.

As for my earlier post asking Canadian DVD suppliers ThunderDVD replied only after repeated asking and then told me they do not ship to here.
DV-Depot turned out to be more expensive for low quantity orders (say 2 DVDs) as they bill in USD. Strange actually as they are based in Canada.
