Can anyone tell me if these receivers are ready to play dvd-audia and sacd?

    -Denon 1705
    -Pioneer 814
    -Yamaha 450

Also, is it worth it and will it work well with kef 1005 and pioneer 575?

    Thanks

IMHO all of them will be able to play dvd-a and sacd. You might want better speakers than the kef series as they arent very musical. The Mordaunt short Premeire plus system would be better and are still high WAF.

Thanks Dfour. However, i live in Portugal and Mordaunt Short are hard to find and expensive. I also looked at Infinity TSS-750 and if i have to and the diference is noticeble i could go for Infinity Oreus or Kef 2005. Do you think is worth it?

The only problem with Kef 2005 is the centre speaker is weak and many people replace it with a Q5/6/9C or older reference centre. What about buying from germany? You can save quite a large amount of money by buying from Germany

Yes, i thought about it and even done my reserch on prices, but i don´t know if it is safe and i´m worried about the warranty.Do you know how it works (payment) and if the warranty is good?
And by the way, what receiver and speakers (of the ones we talked about) do you recomend?

    Thanks very much
