Dudes of the DVD Audio brigade Im after some info on 96Khz output from DVD Audio discs. Have any of you dudes been able to get a 96Khz signal in PCM form when listening to the surround MC 24/96 mixes from the digital outputs on your player into a 96Khz capable Amp or DAC ? Ie in downmixed (stereo) 24/96 form, as this is the same resolution that the DVD Video standard offers. I know that it can be achieved in some instances like the Pioneer 757i into the AX10i using propietary IEE 1394 connections under agreement up to 5.1 24/96Khz surround tracks & 2 Ch/24/192Khz stereo tracks. But Im more interested in standard DVD Audio players sending it via SPDIF connections ? Anyone know of anything along these lines ? TIA.
