I have a DVD Audio player (Samsung HD841) connected to the analog "7.1" inputs on a VSD-D912.

My problem is when I select the analog inputs to use DVD Audio or SACD the amp routes everything to the back surrounds. I checked the DVD player and correct signal is coming out of each out. So, I am hoping a system reset fixes it. The manual says to press the "tone" and "standby/on" Hold for 3 seconds and supposedly a prompt for confirmation shows. This hasn't happened. Nothing has reset. Does anyone have any other advice?
