    Guys

Does anybody know the significance of this.

My old player build 207 with had the following details after MR/Pal Prog firmware Update

    DRV 6100
    ESS 6235
    Panel 6234
ESS P625 (pressing the display button)

My new replacement player build 212 has the following details after being updated with the same firmware patch

    DRV 6193-2 (New Laser)
    ESS 6235
    Panel 6234
ESS N625 (pressing the display button)

What does the P and the N mean? I could take a wild guess and say Pal & NTSC

    Phil

    Phil,

Sounds sensible..I must admit, when I saw one of my 3800 numbers as 34625P I did think the P stood for PAL.

I still haven't found anyone who can confirm what the firmware numbers mean and what they stand for - even after asking Denon support...
