DVD-A, SACD most wanted

The recent thread on the amount of DVD-A disc ownership made me wonder what other artists others are waiting for before splashing the cash.

So, who are your most wanted artists?

Mine are:

Massive Attack
Orbital
Prodigy
Rammstein
Kraftwerk
Aphex Twin
Autechre
Anything produced by Timbaland.

Lots of industrial stuff (e.g. Apoptygma Bezerk, Covenant, VNV Nation).

Interestingly, everything I'm waiting for seemes to be electronic in nature. CD seems good enough for me for everything else. YMMV.

Regards,

Jules.

ncpl,

Peter Gabriel is already on SACD (single-layer SACD in the US, hybrids in Europe). Genesis, with PG, is due to appear on both SACD and DVD-A next month with "The Lamb".

Soundboy,
Thanks for the info. I have the remastered CD's and can only play the hybrid layer of SACD so am not expecting any improvement. Until I change my processor, I can't do hi-res SACD.
In the meantime, my wishlist is for DVD-A only. "The Lamb" will be a treat for sure.

cheers

massive attack for DVD-A would be great!

100th window & mad proffesor would probably work best.

Yep, I second CrispyXUK on Radiohead - I want to be totally enveloped in depressedpop!

Um, no-one seems to have mentioned U2. I'm sure something is in the pipeline....

Personally, I'd like to see a multichannel Faithless album.

I'm sure Enigma would sound great in multichannel - those Gregorian Monks always send a tingle up my spine!

DT,
forgot about those...just about any Faithless or Leftfield would be a delight on DVD-A for me
