I read the article in HC and mentioned to an AV Dealer that I thought it should catch on better than DTS Audio Discs ever did because DVD-A has three distinct tracks on it ... Super Duper DVD-A which only a DVD-A machine can decode ... Super Duper DVD-A stereo (ditto above) ... DD5.1 which any DVD player (DD5.1 capable) can decode ... I suggested that I might buy DVD-A discs right away as I could at least listen to the DD5.1 while I wait for DVD-A machines to become the standard and then I would upgrade in a year or two (dont tell the missus!) The dealer I was discussing this with suggested (politely) I was talking out of my RSE ... Who's right ? Me or Him ? ------------------ "Hi my names Paul and I'm a dvdaholic ..."
