DVBviewer EPG Importing Using myXMLTV & XMLTV-GUI

Any one – can you please advise/help...

For the last week or so, the method of grabbing the EPG for my satellite card & DVBViewer has stopped working post New years Eve. i.e., after 31st December, the grabber software appears to stop working and the EPG is empty. I have not knowingly changed anything.

So now Its January 1st, and I still cannot grab and upload into DVBviewer the EPG!

Can any one advise me what I need to do?

I have not changed anything, I am still using XMLTV-GUI first, and then My XMLTV.

I have even reinstalled all the three files to no avail; it seems that the New Year is causing the glitch.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's not the grabber that is the problem, the problem is that the source feed hasn't been updated, the source comes from Radiotimes

I expect the person at Radiotimes who looks after it is on holiday like everyone else, we can't moan about it as they provide the feed for use free, so we will have to wait till it's sorted

If you're despairate you can use the bleb feed but ITV channels are missing from this feed and ITV won't give permission for it to be used on bleb

At east its not only me who has the problem...

I was rather concerned that my system had a fault...

I shall wait for a few days to see if the situation resolves naturally...

not wishing to hi jack the the thread - but how are you getting on with DVBViewer ?

Its the best i've seen for my money. ....and I tried the LOT.

I did an update last night and nothign seemed to come through......

But maybe whislt tampering i have changed something, I will try again this evening, if need be start from scratch to get it working

Have you got your EPG back up to date I trust?

No major issues - though I ahve not looked into using it much other than recording BBC HD

I also have MCE for all my other PVR functions
