dv88+ & prog scan

    Due to pick up my dv88+ next week do you have to turn the prog scan on for it to work and will it play through my pw6b without altering the settings or will i have to play about with it

    Not that silly thats where its coming from, paid a deposit picking it up wednesday

    If I recall correctly, the default setting is RGB, interlaced - you will have to select "component" and "progressive" in the Set-up menu. While you are doing this it is worthwhile having the video output (composite) connected up too as this will let you see what's going on - if you change settings and your TV / plasma needs changed also. My Panasonic 4-series needed changed from RGB to component.
