    A question for the nice guys at Arcam, one anyone else that knows for certain.

    On a DV27a can I set the speakers to?;

    Front L/R = Large
    Centre = Not Present
    Surround L/R = Large
    Subwoofer = Not Present

    If I can do this, would I be right in saying the LFE and Centre channels get redirected to the Fronts and the surrounds remain unchanged?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

    1: Yes it is possible to selct this configuration in the setup menu

    2: The centre channel sound will be redirected to the front left and right speakers in order to create a phantom centre channel.

    3: Ther rear speakers will function as normal, reproducing the full range of frequencies sent to them.

    4: The front left and right speakers will be sent the LFE information also which may cause them to bottom out sooner then expected.
