DV-i or DV-D cable for Yamakawa to Panny AE300?

    Help!!

    I've just bought a Panny AE-300 and as above would like to link it to an on the way Yamakawa 365 DVD player, using the DVi out. I've just noticed that the Panny has a DVi-D plug input, whilst the Yammy has a DVi-I plug output... as seen here

    What type of cable do I need?

    EDIT: Just noticed that on Yamakawa's website the rear of the Yammy 365 looks like DVi-I, but the specs say DVi-D :clown:

    Yamakawa

    Does anybody know for sure what's what? :)

    Dvi-D is all your need

    dvi 720p + AE500 = :)

    Yup,

    dvi-D is what you want.

    Any of These should work.

    I had the 7.5m version between my ae300 and yammy 365 with no probs (mind you I only used the player for about 2 hours and have just sold it :D )

    Apparently any longer then 7.5m and you start to get problems

    The picture was good :thumbsup: , mind you like I said it was rather limited testing.

    But the sound couldn't match the limit a900se :thumbsdow , at least to my ears anyway.

    As it was rather a spur of the moment purchase to just try dvi, I decided to sell it on so someone else could have a go.

    Considering a Denon 2200/2900 now to try to improve picture and sound quality :D
