.DV File

    I'm editing my friends video for class and i have everything done, but one scene is on a cd and is saved as a #####.dv file and it will only play in Quicktime, basicly, i need this is a useable file. What do i need to do? Thanks. :thumbsup:

    what editing software do you have?.

    you may be able to import the file into the likes of Premiere or Final Cut.

    failing that if you upgrade to Quicktime Pro you should be able to change the codec to something more universal like MPEG2/4 or AVI
