Hi all recently got the firmware upgrade from Pioneer to allow DivX subtitles to play.. works fine but surprised at how low the text quality is.. the white characters are surrounded by a kind of green glow that's really 'attractive'

Any way to improve this guys?

    thanks

Ahh. well.. interesting.. it seems to handle different sun formats differently. HAd a DivX movie including .sub subtitle files & the subs were back to Awful quality . Have watched some (.srt I think it was) that were fine.

I see theres an associated .idx with the files that allows tweeking..anyone any experience with this?

    thanks

sub and idx are graphic subtitles, SRT, SMI etc are txt based. If your not happy with the sub/idx ones I'd suggest converting them to SRT.
