This kind of copy protection is out of order , I have purchased the music and should be able to play it on any machine I own
I think I will take it back
shame really I know this album has not had good reviews but I wanted to hear it

Does it play on a normal CD player?

There are some MP3 rippers like EAC which may extract the music so you can record the WAVs back to a CDR or listen to them (or different file formats) on your PC.

Had a similar problem with a Dido CD.

I agree with the comments about this copy protection being wrong. I bought the CD yesterday and tried to rip it to my hardrive. No joy, it plays with a "stutter!". I used Exact Audio, then tried DB music convertor and then CDEX. None of them worked, all giving the same results! The only way to get this on your PC is to use the program supplied on the CD itself but this seems to compress the music (not what I want) and then only plays using their program as well! :thumbsdow If anybody finds a way round this please let me know. I want to be able to play the CD using winamp.

    Cheers
