I have noticed this a lot recently...

Similar documentaries being broadcast within weeks of each other on different terrestrial TV channels.

It's usually C5 that shows it first then ITV, C4 & BBC 'copy' them.

The latest is 'There's Only One Kylie', shown on BBC1 on Sat 25th May. This was almost an exact copy of the Kylie documentary shown on C5 a couple of weeks ago, same clips, same interviewees saying the same thing etc.

Another was the Tracie Andrews(?) 'road rage' incident, again shown on C5 about a month ago and then ITV did their version 2 weeks later.

I think the same was done with the Fred & Rose West murders recently and David Beckham last year to name a few

Another was 'How the Twin Towers Collapsed', BBC's Horizon AND C4 showed two near identical, very technical docs although I can't remember which one was shown first.

I'm sure there have been others and this is something that has only started to occur in recent years.

Are they deliberatley copying each other or is just mere coincidence?
