Yes both Lite and Full menu.
The Movie Set posters groups are named in Russian.Might not see much improvments in the near future with the recent events happening in Russia. Properly everything on hold for now..
Maybe it’s just on Ethernet then, I’ll try from usbYes both Lite and Full menu.
Other than indexing , does anything else run in background?Make also sure nothing is running in the background.
At the moment the 'Bello' skin and Kodi scraper is the best experience I've found for browsing/navigating for my content on NFS shares.Using KODI with a Dune is a waste in my modest view. It runs even better on cheaper platforms with e.g. CoreElec.
Getting a Dune/Zidoo it is highly recommended to use it native as the media player and forget about KODI.
With NewGUI also the PosterWall is becoming good (enough).
Upscaling the resolution by the player is standard with Dune. You actually set the highest resolution supported by your TV in setup and everything will be upscaled to that. Frame-rate can be set to adaptive though which is highly recommended.
With Zidoo SD is upscaled always to 1080P or 4K and auto-resolution will switch 1080P/4K modes additionally if enabled.
multi Episodes named as above from single ISO disk doesn’t work for me I just get one image of first episode .At the moment the 'Bello' skin and Kodi scraper is the best experience I've found for browsing/navigating for my content on NFS shares.
Does the new Dune wall/scraper pickup episode titles from ISO naming, e.g.
STAR TREK - TNG (1984) - S01E01E02E03E04.ISO
Unfortunately I don't want these cheap chipsets to upscale my content, I have a Lumagen Video processor to do that.
Admittedly the Odroid N2 is the only device that allowed native playback on the original Core-Elec builds, but when they migrated to the main Leia Kodi build, the option to whitelist resolutions lower than 1080p disappeared. Research seemed to say that officially the whitelist resolutions that appear are generated from the EDID on the connected display, but that does not add up.The perfect player does not exist despite still getting better constantly. With what you want you will likely end up with using multiple like I did: Dune, Zidoo and an OPPO disc player. Your selection will be different obviously.
If you play these UHD ISO DV back from NAS , do you experience any random stuttering or audio dropout?I bought the Dune largely to fill the gap with DV support as I have a significant library of UHD ISOs that support DV. It's great that it also has solid 3D support - even from ISOs as I continue to increase my 3D library (thank you Europe).
Same question, but specifically 'if you play them via Wi-Fi?'.If you play these UHD ISO DV back from NAS , do you experience any random stuttering or audio dropout?
Please, can you tell me,since you are prolific poster, how to record on Dune Max,on my RC,button rec is a dead, does it have some catch,if anyone knows?Thank you in advancedDUNE is about as close to perfect as I have found, outside of JRiver Media Center on my HTPC.
JRiver are now starting to support DV (MKV and eventually UHD ISO) which is great - and their new renderer (JRVR, as madVR has stopped public releases outside of expiring betas) works across Windows and MacOS. They also have a 'Nix version but I am unsure the JRVR support. Note JRiver also decodes and plays 3D MVC from MKV as well, although still need to use the madVR renderer which is fine. It's far far superior for Audio to anything out there, since I have full SACD support and can feed a multichannel USB DAC with excellent native DSD support which is where I continue to use it exclusively, it also supports full ISO menus (BD, DVD, UHD) and has an excellent and highly customizable UI/GUI than Dune. It's close to perfect but still has some issues that prevent it from being the "one player to rule them all".
Dune has in my opinion excellent playback and full DV support, is fast, with solid support for HFR (4K60). The new GUI while simple, is fine for me. It lacks some customization (manual editing of meta data), but that is promised in the future.

Just tried that, albeit non optimal at 200mbs (20MB/s) speed approx, and I do still get stutters though it could be just an overall speed of connection issue, I don’t seem to get any stutters if I use a USB connection and 320MB/s I will try to get a better Wi-fi connection speed If its working for you?Same question, but specifically 'if you play them via Wi-Fi?'.Not tried that!
Yes, thank you, that would me much appreciated. For my current set-up Wi-Fi is the only option, so I am currently trying to decide whether to stick to Apple TV + Infuse or get an additional box for Dolby Vision.I will try to get a better Wi-fi connection speed If its working for you?
Got bad stutters when playing back UHD DV from 320MBs USB SSD last night, same file played perfect from my Oppo via NAS, although the Dune GUI is very nice these random playback stutters are turning me off the Dune…shame.Yes, thank you, that would me much appreciated.
