Koch Media releasing a special 7-disc Dune: Ultimate Edition box set featuring the newly-restored Theatrical Cut in 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, along with 2 Blu-ray discs of bonus features, TWO different versions of the Extended TV Edition on Blu-ray (apparently restored in HD mostly from film, with some portions sourced from analog video tape where film no longer exists), and the film’s soundtrack on CD. The package will also include the Ron Miller production design book, a booklet with an essay by Paul Poet, and a reproduction of the Marvel Comics adaptation by Bill Sienkiewicz and Ralph Macchio (not that Ralph Macchio).

Yeah its been discussed in the Deluxe 4K steelbook thread. Nothing apparently restored about the Extended TV edition being HD - I own it already! The 2-disc German Blu-ray is OOP. It looks great given the drop in quality for the extra 41 minutes. It does have a very tiny anomaly which lasts about a second (blink and you'll miss it trust me) which is being fixed for the new Ultimate Edition but basically if you've got it already like me, you don't need the new one. Spicediver fan-edit is SD only so that's a big negative from me.
Stick with the Deluxe Steelbook. Buy it while you can...
