Hiya - I've just bought a Sony RDR-GX3 which I am going to archive VHS footage onto using DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs.

My question is - are the recordings I make therefore Region 2, or are they not region encoded (Region 0?).

Any help would be appraeciated!

All your recordings are Region free and will play on any player capable of playing PAL DVDs (and reading DVD-RW/+RW disks obviously).

Note if your archiving you should really use DVD-R disks as these are more compatible than DVD-RW/+RW.
