If my room is not square and the TV is in the corner - would I be better off going for a 6.1 setup?

Or would a 5.1 be OK?

I am unable to put the rears directly behind me so they will be in a row against a side wall.

Oh yeah - I am looking at Kef eggs.

    Gary

5.1 with the rears firing across the seating position will be fine

But if you've got an Amp with 6.1 capability you'd benefit from using it :)
