dumb 5.1/6.1 question

    If my room is not square and the TV is in the corner - would I be better off going for a 6.1 setup?

    Or would a 5.1 be OK?

    I am unable to put the rears directly behind me so they will be in a row against a side wall.

    Oh yeah - I am looking at Kef eggs.

    5.1 with the rears firing across the seating position will be fine
